The location was okay. It was about a 15-minute walk to the city centre.
I found the room quite disappointing. the bed sagged noticeably in the middle, and the mattress was very uncomfortable. the window faced the street, and the noise from traffic kept me awake. The curtains didn't block out the light at all.

the bar had a great atmosphere! a nice outside seating area provided a romantic setting. the breakfast included locally sourced sausages, they tasted good. the staff demonstrated friendly and helpful service.
i noticed there was no coat hook on the back of the door, this small detail would add convenience.

free parking was available on site, that added convenience. there's a bus stop situated right outside the hotel, it makes getting into the city center easy without needing to hunt for parking spaces.

a full english breakfast was served, it gave a hearty start to the day. the bar offered a good selection of drinks, i found it very enjoyable. outside seating allowed one to dine al fresco.

the room was spacious, and airy and felt clean. tea and coffee, along with individual packs of biscuits, were provided. toiletries were supplied, and they added a thoughtful touch.

The room was clean. The breakfast had everything I needed, including coffee making facilities (I appreciated that).
The room was cold when I arrived. It took a few hours to reach a nice temperature even with the heating on max. The WIFI did not stretch up to the room. I had to get the password for another network to get it to work.
